He is a trainer from Bogota, 37 years old. His entire life has been dedicated to sports and fitness. Since his childhood, he has practiced all kinds  of sports such as skiing, football, swimming, volleyball and martial arts. He has been a trainer of more than 3000 coaches in eleven countries and he is focused on giving his best in this new experience, Exathlon.

His greatest abilities are strength, agility, dodging obstacles and balance. He says ‘’I am a little worried about not to be able to hit the targets properly in the end because of tiredness.’’

He has enhanced his flexibility and mobility to enter Exathlon Colombia, as he wants to get there with a high aerobic capacity to be competent at the games all the time. He is also sure that his main challenge in the competition will be the mental preparation. "I think coming with a fresh mind to the games will be my greatest challenge, to be able to come up with a focused mind, to an uncomfortable and tough environment," says Rubén.
